With reference to my despatch No.521 dated
the 10th August, 1937, I have the honour in
accordance with Colonial Regulation 265 to request
your approval for the supplementary expenditure of a
further sum of $34,520 under Head 22, Medical
Department, Sub-Head-17, Medicines, Surgical
Appliances and Instruments, on page fifty-five of the
printed Estimates for 1937.

This amount represents the cost of
cholera vaccine which had to be purchased from the
nearest available sources at short notice during the
epidemic.
